VECTOR vs RASTER?

Do you want the long answer or the really long answer? To keep it short and sweet think of it this way:
  • We use programs like Adobe Illustrator to create vector drawings. Vector allows for us to scale up our artwork without losing any quality because the computer will continuously redraw the image to adjust itself to scale. Great for crisp clean graphics like logos, garment illustrations, technical drawing and much more.
  • We use programs like Adobe Photoshop to create raster drawing which are made up of pixels. This type of drawing is perfect for photo or realistic images. When scaled up too large these types of images can look pixelated.
